• Download and run the software on the local system, then select Office 365 for source and destination.

• Now select the items that the user wants to migrate. A data filter option is also available to apply a date filter. Next, press the Next button.

• For user validation, enter the email and application ID of the source Office 365 admin. Now hit the Validate button to move domain from one Office 365 tenant to another.

• After validating the permissions, press the Next button.

• Enter the admin ID and Application ID of target Office 365, then click the Validate button.

2. Choose the domain name from which you wish to remove it.
3. From the right pane, select Remove.

Step 3: Domain Creation in a New Tenant

1. Go to the Admin Center and select the Domains Page from settings.
2. Now press the Add Domain option.
3. Type the domain name and hit on the Next button.
4. from the drop-down menu. choose “How do you wish to verify that you own the domain”.
5. Now validate the domain for Office 365 tenant to tenant domain migration.
6. Now users need to decide how they want to apply the DNS modifications necessary for Office to use the domain.

Here are two possible ways:

1 – Add the DNS records for me – If you want Office to configure DNS automatically.

2 – I’ll add the DNS records myself – By choosing this option, the user has already added DNS records.

Now select the finish button.

Step 4: Data Migration from the Source Office 365 Tenant to the Domain

Now the users have to move data from tenant to domain at this stage. However, the user has to create a user mailbox in the tenant of the Office 365 domain before initiating the migration process. Then, move to 1st step to migrate data from the current Office 365 tenant to the newly created domain.
