- Go to the Admin Center and select the Domains Page from settings.
- Now press the Add Domain option.
- Type the domain name and hit on the Next button.
- from the drop-down menu. choose “How do you wish to verify that you own the domain”.

- Now users need to decide how they want to apply the DNS modifications necessary for Office to use the domain.

Step 4: Data Migration from the Source Office 365 Tenant to the Domain
Now the users have to move data from tenant to domain at this stage. However, the user has to create a user mailbox in the tenant of the Office 365 domain before initiating the migration process. Then, move to 1st step to migrate data from the current Office 365 tenant to the newly created domain.
