What is a marriage leave application?
A marriage leave application is shared with the concerned individual at work when the sender needs to put a hold on from work or school to go to a wedding, which could be a companion, family member or even their own.
In India, an individual can be allowed marriage leave from 1 to 15 days. It relies upon whose wedding the individual is joining in. For example, assuming he is going to a companion’s wedding, he would be allowed one short day’s leave. Then again, assuming that it is his own marriage, he can request around 50% of a month’s leave or even an entire month.
In the professional world, sending an email or a letter is the most formal way to ask for marriage leave.
